Back To School Rally
Over 600 children in local family foster care, relative placement, or suitable other placement received a new backpack fully stocked with school supplies, and a voucher from Capri for a free haircut.
Supplies include folders, notebooks, pencils, pens, glue, markers, colored pencils, pencil boxes, colored pencils, etc. Padlocks and calculators are also available.
Local businesses and organizations support the effort by holding school supply drives. Extra backpacks are filled for local Departments of Human Services and are also made available to children entering foster care during the school year.
