The Clothing Closet
Established in the Summer of 2006, The Clothing Closet is a FREE resource for foster/adoptive placements & relative placements needing clothing, shoes, winter coats/boots and other necessities for children in birth through adult sizes. The Closet depends solely on generous donations, is staffed completely by volunteers, and is utilized by many families from 14 counties in Iowa.
Our Location We are located at 3516 Center Point Rd NE, Cedar Rapids.
How can you help?
The Clothing Closet is always accepting seasonal new and gently used clothing in sizes infant to adult. We also are constantly in need of other items such as:
Laundered Up to Date Clothing (Infant - XL Teen)
High Chairs & Strollers
Like New Pack and Plays
Winter Items (coats, hats, mittens, boots, snow pants)
New underwear & socks
Baby Formula & Cereal
Newborn- Size 6 Diapers (Open packages too)
Maternity Clothing
Cash/Gift Card Donations
School Supplies
Large Totes
White Plastic & Pants Hangers

Hours are: Sundays 1-3 pm, Monday 5-7 pm, Wednesdays 9-1 pm, Fridays 9-1 pm, and we are closed holidays.
