The statistics in our communities and the state are astounding! We believe, by working together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of these children and help give them a better future.

Cast Your Vote for $25,000 C.R. Grant
The Cedar Rapids community answered the call from State Farm for Causes that would make a difference in their neighborhood. Families Helping Families of Iowa’s Spread Your Wings program has been selected as a finalist in the State Farm Cause An Effect program.
Walk in A Child's Shoes
The 2nd Annual Families Helping Families of Iowa Walk in a Child's Shoes event is on Saturday, May 5th in honor of Foster Care Awareness Month. The afternoon will be filled with family fun! There will be a 1.5 mile walk, fun activities, games, crafts and a raffle.
